Hello everyone!
It’s
hard to believe that summer is nearly over!
We had a great crowd at the Summer Palooza
at Rainsville, with great food and fellowship, large classes and really
good weather.
Dusty and Wendy Boynton not only put
together a great show, I think Dusty earned his “Superior” in grilling!!
He makes absolutely the best grilled chicken ever, and many folks
brought sides for our Friday evening dinner.
The
show team of Danny Anderson, Debbie Wall, Donna Casey and Tara Perry and
her ring crew did a fantastic job too!! We had several 3 point classes,
including Novice Youth Western Pleasure and Novice Youth Horsemanship,
Novice Youth Hunter under Saddle, and Green Trail, and our biggest class
was Sr Trail with 20 shown.
In fact, Trail was a huge success with a
total of 95 entries in all divisions!
It
was great to see everyone at the show.
Congratulations to those who worked so hard
to put on such a successful event.
Looking ahead,
our final show of the year is the All
Novice show October 25-26, 2014 in Autaugaville and the Northeast
Alabama Cutters have events scheduled for October 4-5 and November 15-16
in Rainsville.
I know several of you are also planning to
attend the East Novice Championship Show September 30th
through October 5th in
Murfreesboro TN.
